It appears my new site is getting some recognition in the search engines as of late. I submitted the website for my Las Vegas based Taxi site to about fifty different directories. I used some software I purchased for my SEO business; I use it all the time. Now I know some people believe that directories don’t work, but my experience has taught me otherwise. I’ve discovered some pretty good directories over the years and they have been instrumental in forming a solid base to grow from. These sites are indexed on Google, but have yet to show up in the top 100 so it’s a bit of a trade secret. I’ve also implemented Google alerts to keep an eye on my keywords. It allows me to see when my keywords are being used, when my site is getting some recognition on the search engines, and which directories the site is showing up in. Needless to say it’s a very handy tool. I suppose its tools like these that have made me so successful in my SEO business.
