Now we want to find the keywords people will type in the search box to find you. I did this to my new project and found that the most searched for term is Las Vegas Taxi . It might help you to either write your words down on a piece of paper or in notepad on your computer. If you write them on a piece of paper it will make it easier to take with you. Take it with you and add to the list by asking friends and acquaintances what they would use to find you.
Once you have a list, now you can get down to work expanding your list even more. Up until now you have compiled a list but you have no idea whether anyone actually uses those keyword in the search engines.
Several comanys have created tools that help you do this. There are some that you have to pay for and some that are free. Normally you get what you pay for and in the past we had to use tools that were, just ok. Google has a tool that I like and use on a regular basis. However I only use this tool to get an idea of were to start. In future posts I’ll show you how I refine this list of search terms. The point right now is that you need to do some keyword research using the google keyword tool. If you want to use it go to Google and search for Google keyword tool.
