I purchased a domain today. It for a new site that I’m building for a friend, A site to do with Las Vegas Taxis. When purchasing a new domain it isn’t always necessary to make it your company name.  You can create a domain that includes your main keywords, you’ll have to do some keyword research before you’ll know what these are though.  So it’s always best to do some research before purchasing your new url.  After doing my  research and buying a domain name I next try to get it indexed in the search engines.  You can usually do this by getting some links to the site like I’m doing in this post. Normally it will show up in a matter of days with links from a good site or blog.
