Why You Should Do It Yourself

I’m sure the thought of trying to do your own online marketing is a bit intimidating. There are a few reasons why you should do it yourself though.

  • Expense
  • Experience in your niche
  • Amount of exposure
  • Security

Let’s go through them one by one. The first is expense and I say this while thinking of the old saying ” Give a man a fish, feed him for a day- Teach him to fish, feed him for a lifetime” It’s the same with marketing your business. If I do it for you, you have to pay me each  month to keep it up.  If you didn’t know that, sorry to break the bad news.  Whether me or someone else you’ll be paying month after month.

Experience in your niche is needed so you can talk about your product or services with authority.  If I write about what you do. I’m doing it with limited research or just guessing. Is this what you want your potential customers to see. It’s difficult enough to get people to pay attention to you. When they see some amateurish attempt at explaining your business they’ll simply click away and go to your competition.

ROI is measured by the amount you put out compared to the amount you bring in. In other words what it costs you to make a sale. If you saturate your market with content at a very low cost, you’re ROI will go up. If you don’t do it yourself you’ll have to pay quite a bit to get the word out and it won’t always be in the best places to capture your market’s attention.

Security is very important and knowing where everything is and how to get into all your properties and programs is very important. Sometime your interests are liable to be help captive if you pick the wrong person and don’t pay attention to security.

We can help you do it yourself with a step by step plan. This is not a learn it yourself and then do it. What we have is a step by step approach, we take you by the hand and tell you exactly what you have to do. You don’t have to learn a thing, if you can point and click, you can do this.

Never Too Big To Fail With SEO

I read a lot about how the search engine algorithms change and what to watch out for but I never see anyone saying why they change. To many of you the answer might seem obvious. To some, “Google is out to get advertisers”. I never could understand this way of thinking. The search engines don’t owe you anything, they’re in business just like you.  The bottom line is: Google wants their customers to come back. Pretty simple when you think about it, they only want to give good customer service.

Good Customer Service

When people search they want to get to the end of their search quickly,  to end their search. To get there certain things have to happen, there must be a clear choice of results and those results must fill the need or the person searching. The only way the search engines know your site will fill the need of  is by your reputation. You gain reputation and credibility though other sites linking to your own and the links within your own site.  When those sites lose credibility, well so do you.

You saw this happen recently with a huge site, they have lots of money too. Google decided to make it harder to gain credibility. They filtered out some of the sites they thought were being used for gaining rank. What many don’t realize is that  they hurt a credible company but these techniques could just as easily be used by a  not so reputable company to gain rank. Anyway, when they filtered these sites the links lost power and down the site went in ranking.

Doesn’t Matter How Much You Spend

The search engines are not human moderated, they are machines so it doesn’t matter how much you spend in advertising with Adwords. Has nothing to do with the organic listings. You could be spending millions or it could be more. You’re treated just like everyone else. This is why the internet is such great place to do business. It’s a level playing field, anyone can be the big guy on the block.

Broadcasting Your Blog Posts

I’m actually writing this post to test a plugin I just installed. Since Ping.fm stopped us from using their api with shorten2ping my posts haven’t been getting spread on my social sites. Well that should come to a stop now because I have a work around.  Yes I’m still using Shorten2Ping but doing it with email instead of the Api. If it works and I see my post go through I’ll create another post to explain how it’s done. As you know the more links get to your site the more credibility you’ll have and the higher you’ll go in the search engines. That’s what I do as a Las Vegas seo, get links.

How To Use Twitter For Buiness

Looking in my reader I came across some articles that had to do with twitter so I logged into my twitter account to see what’s up.  Let me back up a bit, I’ve actually began using Facebook for marketing my clients businesses and am expanding into twitter.  I can see that it is a viable way to gain interest in blog posts and events that are posted on blogs or Facebook.  So I went searching to see how I might be better at it than I am and ran across this video about using twitter for business.

A New Look

I’ve been working with a Las Vegas Web Design company lately helping them with SEO services for their customers.  They were nice enough to help me with my web design. I just couldn’t get the look I was looking for myself so I let them give it a try and what do you know? They hit the look I was after on the first try.  I’m really happy with the look and I hope my new customers will be impressed with it too. If you need you site redone or you need a new one you should get in contact with them.  Http://maxpowermarketing.com  ask for Kurt.

More About Losing Weight and Marketing

It’s always in the first steps where you are successful at losing weight or not

If you want to lose weight you’ll have to take the first step.  Many people think that’s the hardest part but it’s not, it’s actually easy to take the first step in losing weight and in advertising too. The first step in losing weight is normally to get on a diet and begin starving yourself. In advertising most people will look for someone to build a website. In both cases you’re setting yourself up to fail.  Diets are worthless without exercise  and commitment.  Likewise a website is worthless without doing the tasks needed to make it productive. When losing weight the first step is to realize you need to lose weight to feel and look better. In marketing the first step is to realize you need to do something to keep your business healthy and to grow.  What you do on the second step will determine the outcome of both projects
